Oscar

My sister got a dog. He's named after my dad's nickname, the friendly grouch, and possibly the awards show. Doesn't that look like a cigar he's chewing? Well, it's not. I think he's teething or something. Can you tell I know nothing about dogs? Thank god he's hypoallergenic. I've never been able to have one because of my asthma, but I enjoy looking at them from afar.

Can I just say how 24 is literally one of my favorite shows of all times? Tonight was one of the best episodes I've ever seen. I literally cheered when they pulled a Secion 112? And the suspense of the two separate bombs/exlosions! Oh, and I do love Grey's Anatomy and Medium too. Me thinketh I watch too much TV.

Egon Schiele

I waited in the sub-freezing weather to check out the Schiele (my favorite artist) exhibit in it's last few days, and boy was it worth the frostbite. Interesting story too - he was imprisoned for some of his "indecent" art. Here's one of my favorite pieces called Friendship. Sorry it's so small. The Grammy's

I'd have to say it was one of the better ones recently...Madonna looks amazing. Mary J Blige made U2's performance go from average to sensational. I laughed out loud when Kanye West thanked one of my ex's from many moons ago for putting up with him as his publicist, and he totally deserved the thanks. What was up with Kelly Clarkson's squealing? I do still love her though.
Bruce Springsteen's performance was sobering, even though I've never much been a huge fan of his. What was up with Tom Hank's hair??? Was it a piece? I think I'm liking the Christina Aguilera 30s standards...

XL Super Bowl Party

April invited us to a fabulous LG/Home & Garden XL SuperBowl party on the rooftop of the Gansevoort Hotel tonight complete with food, drinks, footballs, pom-poms, seat cushions, and most of all, plasma flat screens. I wish I had the room OR the wall space to buy one of these suckers. I'm a little obsessed right now actually. Well, I have to say it was the gayest SuperBowl party I've ever been to seeing as it was all Ralph Lauren and Polo bedding and houseware textile design folks. I'm not complaining though. It was the perfect way to spend Super Bowl Evening. I even made it home in time to watch the best Grey's Anatomy episode yet!

Bourbon Street

I keep going to our weekly happy hours for school since I have class till late on Thursday nights now. Last night I met a juggler at Bourbon Street. This place is dangerous - every week it's a different character. I'm getting a little sad knowing I won't be seeing a lot of my friends regularly once school ends this summer. It's gone by so fast...
