Hit-and-Run

I found out my parents got into a car accident the other day. They were both fine, but my Dad drove into a stop sign and knocked it down. Apparently, he was blinded by the sun. Out of panic, he pulled a hit-and-run and fled the scene only to get caught by the cops. He ended up getting scolded and fined for doing so. He still feels crappy about not being a "good citizen". I know I should be taking this more seriously, but it's also kind of funny and just the type of Larry David predicament my parents seem to get into...for those of you who have been witness to my driving skills, the apple, apparently, does not fall far from the tree.

My friend scolded me for not posting in a while, so I was forced to post.

Mental note - Never date a 23 yr old when you're 30 no matter how much fun it may seem at the time and no matter how many free jeans you might get out of it. Actually, scratch that - only do it once.

I found out my best friend's father has about 6 months left to live. I can't even imagine what she must be going through...
