A Second Line

I almost cried tonight listening to Jeff talk about leaving his apartment in New Orleans with everything in it. He was most sad about leaving behind all his music memorabilia. Thankfully, he had renter's insurance and he has his family's support. His story and that of friends' families are just so unbelieveable and hard to believe and imagine.

If you haven't done so already, please donate to the RedCross. There's also a link through MySpace if you're on there as well.

I can't wait to return to New Orleans after it is rebuilt. That's gonna be one HUGE Mardi Gras! If there's one thing about New Orleaneans, it's that they are passionate about their city. And with passion comes resilience.
